Ahshling Stables

Ahshling Stables

The word Ahshling is Gaelic for "A Dream".   Heath's parents, Rai and Verity Purdy started Ahshling Stables in Fort Langley in the early 1960s. Verity started the Langley Pony Club and the Fraser Valley Hunt along with John Gilray and Pam Arthur.

Ahshling Stables has now moved to the Eastern Fraser Valley and is owned and operated by Heath Purdy. The farm is nestled against a stunning mountain view near Harrison Hot Springs. We stand the multiple registered Sabino Paint Thoroughbred stallion "Snowbound Paisley", imported to Canada from Arizona. Ahshling Stables is proud to be producing painted Thoroughbreds for the show ring and performance disciplines. We also have a limited number of Canadian Warmbloods of color.
